Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio

Ana Kristina Gasteyer is an American actor, comedian and singer. She was best known for being a regular cast member of NBC's sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live between 1996 between 1996 and 2002. Since then, she's appeared in sitcoms such as ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto and in the film Mean Girls. Gasteyer's acting career started in Northwestern University. She originally took a singing major but switched to theater after becoming involved with the campus comedy group. Her enthusiasm for comedy influenced her through many roles including her overly controlling Sheila Shay in Suburgatory or the eccentric Karen Grisham on Lady Dynamite. In the end, however, her role on NBC sitcom American Auto is the one which will finally grant Ana Gasteyer the starring part she deserves. Anabell Gardoqui de la Reguera is a Mexican actress. She was the telenovela star in the HBO TV show Eastbound & Down, Capadocia on Amazon Television, and in the comedic Nacho Libre (2006). Reguera was raised in Veracruz, Mexico. Nena dela Reguera is her mom. The actress was Miss Veracruz, a journalist, and TV personality. Reguera began taking ballet classes and then began studying performance arts at the Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura.
